She

      tiny rake

                  and

             shovel

Digs

       in her

               indoor

       garden

Of

     clay pot

                 window

     plants

All

    growing tall

                     and

                 firm

Not

      a brown leaf

                        among

                   them

I think

         it is

              her

          smile

And

       her soft

                  gentle

             humming

That keeps

                their

                     prospects

               green
